New players are appearing in the market as well: TNT channels, internet service providers, telecom operators, virtual mobile phone operators, etc.
TDF plans to respond in a global fashion to the changing technical needs of their clients by offering a full range of services from acquisition of media to its treatment through the final availability of the content.
With this goal in mind, TDF decided to reassemble its activities into a single Multimedia Division under the direction of Mr. Michel Rénéric, the current Technical Director at TDF, and acquire SmartJog, the leader in the safe, fast transfer of digital audio-visual content.

 | In full expansion, and with the aide of its new mother-company, SmartJog’s perspectives will benefit from important business developments in both France and around the world, notably due to the increased generalization of electronic delivery of media.
The synergies developed between TDF and its new subsidiary will allow the Group to propose more complete offers to its clients in terms of material transport, of contribution, of playout, and of multimedia network heads.
TDF is pleased about the acquisition bringing with it dynamism to its core business focus: the future of digital.
